Protect Your Horse from Mosquitoes
Horses have a hard time when it comes to keeping pests away (see Picture below of just
how the mosquitoes can stress a horse by "attacking" the area around the nose and eyes).

The best
way to protect your horse from mosquitoes is to set up one of our Mosquito
Slayer traps near to where the horses are
sheltered (we recommend a distance of approximately 5 to 10 metres external to the Stable area).
The carbon dioxide and other lures in the trap will attract the female
mosquitoes and you will find if you operate your mosquito trap/s 24/7, that within a few weeks, the mosquito problem has
been significantly reduced, and helps to reduce the stress your horse suffers
from the mosquito menace.
Our traps are used in areas where equine viruses occur. For example, The
Singapore Polo Club has set up a "shield" of mosquito Slayer traps around their
stable area to help protect their members horses from the effect of disease
carrying mosquitoes.
If you
would like to know more about how the Mosquito Slayer PRO traps can help you
please contact us.
The Mosquito Management System which
includes the Mosquito Slayer PRO, also plays
an important role in agriculture - protecting both agricultural workers and
other livestock. As well as alleviating the threat of insect-borne disease, the
Mosquito Management System can improve the quality of livestock by reducing the
stress on the animals caused by biting insects, and make the working environment
more comfortable for staff.
